Harley-Davidson® of Wesley Chapel - Experience the Return of the Breakout® With the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Breakout® 117 near Tampa FL
The Breakout® in one form or another has a long history within the Harley-Davidson® lineup. With the introduction of the Softail platform, the concept made its way to that chassis and the Milwaukee-Eight® engine. It had a good run of about eight years, but after the 2019 model year, the brand retired it in North America while continuing to offer it in a number of international markets. But, the Breakout® finally returns to its homeland with the introduction of the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Breakout® 117, which is now available at Harley-Davidson® of Wesley Chapel near Tampa.
The Breakout® is a dragster, and one of its defining features is a fatter rear tire that helps it take advantage of all that extra power. It also feels right that the Breakout® has been transitioned to the Milwaukee-Eight® 117 engine, which is one of the most powerful oil- and air-cooled engines that Harley-Davidson® makes. It had the 114 when it was retired, but that likely wouldn’t feel as special anymore as the 114 is so prevalent throughout the lineup and found on many other cruisers. The aesthetic had been completely revamped as well to look very modern while still remaining true to its Breakout® roots.
There are more customization options as well. All Breakout® 117 models have a classic chrome look. The default color included is Vivid Black and there are also premium colors available. Those include Black Denim, Baja Orange, and Atlas Silver Metallic. Black Denim provides a matte alternative to the glossier Vivid Black. Baja Orange delivers a loud and brash aesthetic, and Atlas Silver Metallic has a reserved look with a splash of electric blue for a bit of contrast. Harley-Davidson® has also released this new model with excellent customization support already in place via the H-D® catalog. Also serving St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and Wesley Chapel Florida.
